The Cincinnati Bengals are going to win a Lombardi Trophy with Joe Burrow at the helm. Bringing that elusive Super Bowl title back to the Queen City would be wrong if Skyline Chili wasn’t there every step of the way.

On Wednesday, Mike Brown’s franchise made sure that wouldn’t happen. The Bengals and Skyline have reached a much-needed partnership. The two-time defending AFC North champs now have an official chili partner.

“We can’t wait to serve Who Dey Nation and the incredible fan base at Paycor Stadium, said Sarah Sicking, Skyline vice president, marketing and brand engagement. “Skyline is known for bringing people together, so we’re honored to bring that experience to fans as they enjoy Skyline and cheer on our beloved Bengals from inside the stadium.”

Now Kentucky/Bengals fans can enjoy some Cincinnati-style chili at Kroger Field on Saturday and Paycor Stadium on Sunday during the 2023 football season. Burrow to Ja’Marr Chase, Devin Leary to Dane Key, and a three-way plus a coney in the fall. Three dynamic connections.

We can also add the beer sales that will likely arrive at Kroger Field this fall. Things are shaping up in 2023.

Cincinnati chili creates more takes than Skip Bayless

Hot takes are all around us in the social media world. Perhaps no food joint in America creates more hot takes than Cincinnati-style chili.

I guess I should join the take party — Cincinnati-style chili is good. Is it the best chili I’ve every had? No. Does it deserve to get consistently ridiculed? No.

The meat sauce is absolutely an acquired taste. However, the combo with a good, old fashioned hot dog is very good and the mountain of shredded cheese makes Cincinnati-style very fun to eat. Add in the laid back atmosphere of a Skyline restaurant that includes unlimited oyster crackers and a very underrated hot sauce and you have a rock-solid chili that is an outstanding concession stand option.

Now Skyline will join forces with a championship football organization. Joe Burrow has changed everything. Now it’s time for the Lombardi Trophy to come home.
