by:T.Walters01/21/16
KENNY WALKER FINAL web   The popular “Wildcat Legends” Fine Art Series will unveil a new tribute print this Saturday, when 2-time Kentucky All-American Kenny “Sky” Walker will be on hand to autograph his new art print for fans. Walker’s “Art Release Ceremony” will be held this Saturday, January 23rd in the Rupp Arena/Lexington Center mall foodcourt from 2:00 — 3:30, immediately before the 4:00 pm UK-Vanderbilt game. Kenny will be on hand to autograph this beautiful new print of him for all fans, regardless if they have tickets for the game or not. The 2-time All-American and SEC Player Of The Year was known for his amazing leaping ability, tenacious defense and toughness -- but most impressively, Walker is 2nd on UK’s all-time career points list with 2,080. One of UK’s most popular players, Kenny is looking forward to seeing the fans again this Saturday. “I am excited and honored to be a member of the ‘Wildcat Legends’ Fine Art Series,” Walker said. “Having seen and enjoyed the artwork for the previous Honorees, I’m in good company and I’m very happy with the way my art turned out… I hope all Kentucky fans will enjoy it, too.” Featured “Wildcat Legends” from last year’s initial season were Mike Pratt, Tony Delk and Kevin Grevey. This season’s “Wildcat Legends” honorees are Jack Givens, Walker, and a SPECIAL HONOREE to be unveiled in March: Coach Joe B. Hall. (Coach Hall will be honored before the UK-LSU home finale on March 5.) “Wildcat Legends” is a collectible series of Fine Art prints from original, individual player paintings by national sports artist and Kentucky native David Bryan Blondell, honoring living UK stars from the 60’s through the 90’s. Each star’s individual art print features a compilation of action poses of him during his time in the Big Blue uniform. Fans may choose to collect any one or all. Reasonably-priced at $35 signed ($20 unsigned), the 11” X 17” high-quality Limited Edition fine art prints will be numbered and signed by Walker at this Saturday’s event; only 500 commemorative prints of him will be produced. Brought to you by “Your Frame of Mind Galleries” and “Kennedy’s Wildcat Den” in Lexington, get additional details and upcoming release dates on their websites: www.YourFrameOfMind.biz or www.Kennedys.com or on their Facebook pages: www.facebook.com/yourframeofmind or www.facebook.com/kennedys   All the prints from the “Wildcat Legends” series are available EXCLUSIVELY at theses two venues.
