Looking for something to watch tonight? Flip over to Amazon Prime Video and check out One Shot: Overtime Elite, a six-part docuseries featuring one current and one future Kentucky Wildcat.

Freshman guard Rob Dillingham is one of the key players featured in the series, which provides a behind-the-scenes look at the Atlanta-based basketball pathway to college and the pros. Four-star center and Kentucky pledge Somto Cyril is, as well, highlighting his move to OTE and what he brings to the table as a player and person.

What can fans expect from the future Wildcat?

“He has a great personality off the court,” General Manager and Head of Basketball Damien Wilkins says in the docuseries. “On the court, he’s an animal. The things he does with his size and athleticism, defense, effort, he’s just a dominating and fearless guy.”

KSR received exclusive footage from OTE to share:

Cyril averaged 8.1 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.4 blocks in 20.3 minutes per contest during his debut season with Overtime Elite in 2022-23. Committing to Kentucky back in June, the 6-10 center is expected to return to OTE for one final season before making his way to Lexington next summer.

“As a kid growing up in Nigeria, I looked at basketball and saw LeBron James and I saw Kentucky and Anthony Davis,” he told KSR+. “On the visit, something clicked with me. That’s the first situation for me to be in and I developed a connection immediately.

“… I’m excited for them to see my growth as a player, offensive ability, and what I can do.”

Dillingham’s move to Overtime Elite

We also got an inside look at Dillingham’s move from Donda Academy to OTE last fall and the process of getting the five-star playmaker to the Cold Hearts.

“Now the question is, where does he go?” Wilkins said. “What roster do we put him on? Who do we move?”

“We’ve got to figure out how to situate the teams predicated on Rob (Dillingham) and looking at the best fit for the overall league,” Head of Coaching Kevin Ollie added. “Because he’s a really talented player.”

The six-part Prime exclusive is a high-stakes, character-driven docuseries that uncovers the devotion and resilience of Overtime Elite players and coaches through every loss and victory — on and off the court.

One Shot: Overtime Elite explores the lives of OTE’s next generation of basketball stars from around the country as they navigate through various challenges and grueling training in pursuit of a professional basketball career. The series will take audiences behind the scenes of a league that is disrupting traditional paths to the NBA and inspiring an entirely new generation of basketball players and fans alike.

The series featuring Cyril and Dillingham is out NOW on Amazon Prime Video.
