Another one bites the dust.

Just a few hours following Jayden Quaintance’s decision to request his release from Kentucky, Somto Cyril has done the same, he told On3’s Joe Tipton. That request has been granted and he is now free to sign with the school of his choosing.

The news comes alongside John Calipari’s decision to leave Kentucky and make the move to Arkansas, announced as the school’s next head coach on Wednesday. His introductory press conference took place this evening.

The 6-foot-10, 240-pound center out of Overtime Elite (GA) committed to the Wildcats in June and later signed with the program in November. He chose Kentucky over Providence, Cincinnati, Indiana, and others.
