Let’s try this again, shall we? The Sources Say Draft Withdrawal Deadline Special was a beautiful disaster, two-plus hours of nonsense into early Thursday morning. The deadline came and went with no news from BYU star Jaxson Robinson regarding his future plans, deciding whether to pursue his professional dreams or explore his transfer options with a return to college.
No news led to talk of bench pressing Pat Kelsey, whether or not SpaghettiOs is soup and what we’d do to go to prison, among other ridiculous topics. It was an all-time episode that closed with the worst game of virtual Rock, Paper, Scissors in history.
It was all worth it, though, as Robinson ultimately pulled his name out of the draft and immediately committed to Kentucky, giving the Wildcats the top-end star talent Mark Pope was hoping for — priority No. 1 going into the offseason.
