Sources Say explains why Kentucky is underrated entering 2025-26

THUMBNAILS - Sources Say

National analysts believe Kentucky will be good in 2025-26, but maybe not one of the best in college basketball. That’s reflected in many of the way-too-early preseason polls with the Wildcats sitting just inside or outside the top 10 — not top five or anywhere near the top. Big deal? Probably not, but it’s July 1 and we need things to talk about.

That’s why Sources Say brought in a new guest in Spencer Smith of Synergy Sports — a former DI staff member for a decade who was actually working for the University of Kentucky during the team’s 2012 national championship run. He joined Jack Pilgrim and Shawn Smith to talk about his experience in scouting and how the Wildcats’ roster was built this season — and why they belong in the Final Four conversation.

The stories are great and the intel on this upcoming team is even better. One thing is for sure: you will feel better about the Cats in year two under Coach Pope after listening to this show.
