And just like that, Kentucky has a basketball coach, the Wildcats moving forward with BYU’s Mark Pope as the face of the program.
It was a wacky coaching search that landed in Provo, bringing home a 1996 national champion to Lexington, a move met with quick criticism but overwhelming support after sleeping on it.
