THUMBNAILS - SOURCES SAY TN

It’s a tale as old as time, song as old as rhyme, beauty (Kentucky) and a beast (Louisville), the Cats rolling to an eight-point win over the Cards inside Rupp Arena to move to 10-1 on the season. Mark Pope got the victory in his first Battle of the Bluegrass as head coach with the help of Lamont Butler, who led the way with 33 points on a perfect 10-10 shooting and 6-6 from three to cement his status as a legend in the rivalry. Otega Oweh was also the ultimate closer, scoring nine of the team’s last 14 points to wrap things up. Oh, plus we got a fight!

That led to Kentucky moving up to No. 4 in both polls ahead of the team’s trip to New York City for the CBS Sports Classic where they will take on the Ohio State Buckeyes. Coach Pope then closed out the night with his call-in radio show where he broke down the win and what it meant for the players to join such a historic rivalry.

Sources Say talks about all of it and more tonight on the KSR YouTube channel. Check out the entire LIVE celebration below:
