Just when it appeared the offseason was over, Mark Pope decided to throw a nice little curveball by confirming Kentucky is, in fact, looking to add not one, but multiple pieces to close out the 2025-26 roster. The catch? None are expected to be difference-makers this season, the Wildcats pushing for a redshirt signing or two, maybe a portal player with one year of eligibility remaining looking to live out the dream in Lexington? One way or another, the UK head coach says he’s looking all over the world to find the perfect fits to wrap things up.

Elsewhere, how about some Otega Oweh news? That’s included in the conversation, Pope sharing a BIG-TIME update on the star guard currently testing the draft waters.
