Sources Say recaps an all-time SEC Media Day with Myron Medcalf
Talking season has come and gone, Mark Pope making his debut at SEC Media Day in Birmingham to officially tip off college basketball season. KSR was in attendance, Zack Geoghegan and I chatting with all 16 SEC coaches and 32 total players from early morning to late afternoon.
How did Pope’s first podium appearance go as a head coach in the conference that just means more? What was it like seeing Coach Cal in red for the first time as a representative of the Arkansas Razorbacks? Any other top rivals sticking out ahead of what is expected to be one of the most competitive years in SEC history from top to bottom with as many as 12 teams making the NCAA Tournament?
Oh, and how about a special guest appearance from ESPN’s Myron Medcalf? He shared his thoughts on the Cats to close out the show.
