The Kentucky football program is having its worst season in nearly a decade, and yet, the folks in Las Vegas are still calling for a close game against its top rival.

The spread for Kentucky’s regular-season finale next weekend against the Louisville Cardinals has been revealed. Louisville is currently viewed as a slight favorite at -3.5, according to FanDuel, with the over/under set at 49.5. UK has won five straight in this rivalry series dating back to 2018, including a 38-31 win last season that saw the ‘Cats also enter as underdogs.

ESPN Analytics gives the Wildcats just a 29.8 percent chance of victory. UK is 7-4 against the spread this season and is 4-3 at home against the spread.

Kentucky (4-7) is coming off a 31-14 road loss to No. 3 Texas over the weekend. The Wildcats finished with a 1-7 record in the SEC and will miss its first bowl game in eight years. Meanwhile, Louisville is sitting on a 7-4 record after beating Pitt 37-9 at home on Saturday.

Kickoff against the Cardinals on Saturday, Nov. 30 is set for noon EST on the SEC Network. Can Kentucky make it six straight Governor’s Cup wins?
