All over the internet one can hear talk of possible staff changes in the coming weeks.  I have always insisted that it is humorous to hear people say that any particular assistant should or should not be fired, since most people have no idea what each assistant actually does.  But this much is clear.....this is a disorganized staff when it comes to recruiting and ultimately someone has to take responsibility.

I think it is likely that there will be one and maybe two changes among the assistants.  My guess is that the changes in assistant coaches will have virtually no impact on the court, but could have a significant impact in terms of how this staff goes about recruiting.  If any assistant leaves or is forced out, I think it does tell you that Tubby is going nowhere and that he recognizes the issues involving recruiting.  We shall see, but whatever happens, will likely happen quickly, as the Final 4 is the place where assistants go to mingle and thus changes usually are known by that time.
