Tanah Becker takes pride in her defense and being able to guard multiple positions
When take a look at this Kentucky roster that Kenny Brooks has put together here at Kentucky, the singular constant from top to bottom is the shooting. Everyone on this team can score, with several players being excellent three-point shooters specifically.
Of course, to win basketball games, you gotta score. The team with the most points when the clock strikes zero wins. However, the old adage of “defense wins championships” certainly as some weight to it, even in today’s game.
Kentucky freshman guard Tanah Becker takes great pride in not only being able to play solid defense, but to use her length and size to be able to guard multiple positions.
“We’re going to be a great, long and versatile team,” Becker explained. “We’re going to work really hard every day on the court. For me personally, I’m a long, versatile defender, and I really pride myself on that.”
