Kentucky has official visit locked in with 3-star OL Taren Hedrick
Offensive tackle is a position of need for Kentucky in the 2025 high school recruiting cycle. New offensive line Eric Wolford is currently working on building relationships as summer official visit season quickly approaches. The Wildcats have locked in an official visit with a key target.
Naples (Fla.) Community School tackle Taren Hedrick caught up with Gators Online on Tuesday. The high three-star prospect has locked in five official visits set to begin next weekend. Ole Miss (May 31-June 2), Florida (June 7-9), Texas A&M (June 14-16), Purdue (June 21-23), and Kentucky (June 28-30) will each get an official visit from the prospect.
No one is currently in the lead. Taren Hedrick received a scholarship offer from Kentucky on Feb. 14. Now the Wildcats will get the tackle prospect on campus. Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier guard Tucker Kattus is the only offensive lineman in Kentucky’s 2025 recruiting class. That should change soon.

Marques Cox, Courtland Ford, and Gerald Mincey are each entering their final season of eligibility at Kentucky in 2024. The tackle position is going to flip quickly and Kentucky needs to backfill the premium position. Taren Hedrick is one of a handful of targets Kentucky is currently pursuing at the position. Darrin Strey, N-Kye Wynn, and Bryan Auguste are other tackle prospects scheduled to take official visits to Kentucky in June.
