Taren Hedrick Reschedules Kentucky Official Visit to this Weekend
A big official visit weekend just got even bigger. KSR has confirmed that offensive tackle Taren “TJ” Hedrick has rescheduled his official visit to Kentucky for this weekend. The news was first reported by Josh Edwards.
The addition of Hedrick to the official visit lineup makes this weekend a monumental moment for the future of the Big Blue Wall. Kentucky was forced to go to the transfer portal to rebuild the offensive line after falling behind in the high school recruiting front. One reason why Mark Stoops brought Wolford back to Lexington was to remedy that problem and he’s hit the ground running.
In addition to Hedrick, this weekend Kentucky is hosting IOL Isaac “Spike” Sowells, OT Darrin Strey, and IOL Tucker Kattus, a UK commit.
Hedrick is a three-star talent who plays high school football in Naples, FL. The 6-foot-5, 308-pound athlete is the No. 38 offensive tackle prospect in the country, according to the On3 Industry Ranking.

Hedrick initially planned on traveling to Kentucky for the final weekend of June but that was rescheduled a few times. He has received interest from Ole Miss, Florida, and Texas A&M, but does not have any other official visits scheduled.
Kentucky needs at least three or four offensive tackle commits in the 2025 class after only securing one from the high school ranks over the last two recruiting cycles. Hedrick is a powerful player at the point of attack who would be a welcomed addition to the Big Blue Wall.
