Flip season has arrived in college football. The Early Signing Period officially begins on Wednesday. Expect to see numerous commitment changes over the next few days. Kentucky could have its own.

Savannah (Ga.) Jenkins defensive lineman Tavion Gadson (6-5, 265) is a three-star prospect who received official written offers from Auburn, Florida State, Kentucky, and Minnesota at the beginning of August. However, Gadson quickly made a decision and committed to the Seminoles in the second week of August.

But Kentucky has remained a competitor in this recruitment.

Defensive backs coach Chris Collins is running point for the Wildcats and multiple members of the coaching staff conducted an in-home visit with Gadson just over a week ago. The defensive lineman then made it up to Lexington for an official visit this weekend.

That is making the Wildcats the favorite to land a signature from Gadson.

The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine has the Wildcats as the new leader at 66.7%. It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits, and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation. Florida State insiders are changing picks to Kentucky as the Wildcats appear to have real momentum in this recruitment.

As of now, Gadson is planning on waiting until February to sign but things can change fast in college football. Kentucky could be adding a defensive line recruiting win very soon.
