Georgia is making hard push for Tavion Wallace
Kentucky linebacker Trevin Wallace was a three-and-done at Kentucky before entering the 2024 NFL Draft. The former top-100 recruit out of South Georgia is now preparing for the Senior Bowl and is looking to become the latest Wildcat linebacker to be selected in the NFL Draft.
His younger brother could possibly join him in the next level in a few years.
Jesup (Ga.) Wayne County linebacker Tavion Wallace is a top-50 recruit in the class of 2025. The younger Wallace has long been a priority recruit for Kentucky, but this time Mark Stoops‘ program might need to beat out the in-state school.
Georgia is major player in the recruitment of Tavion Wallace. The Bulldogs hosted the rising junior for an unofficial visit over the weekend.
“It was good. It was everything I expected,” Wallace told Dawgs HQ. “I expected to get something great out of it, and it was great when I went there. It was everything I expected it to be. I was one of the first ones to get there, so I got a little edge up on everybody. I got there and was able to get with Coach Kirby [Smart] for a little minute, and then, we toured the facilities, went to the basketball game, did some photos, and then, I sat down with the coaches in the meeting rooms.”

The blue-chip linebacker is also planning on making a trip to Florida State. Due to family relationship, Kentucky should have more than a puncher’s chance in this recruitment but it could be tough to pull the younger Wallace out of the Peach State.
