Kentucky feels like home for Tavion Wallace
Jesup (Ga.) Wayne County junior Tavion Wallace is a top-50 recruit in the class of 2025 and his recruitment is heating up. Kentucky has a clear family connection to the South Georgia native but the competition is stiff.
Tavion Wallace is the younger brother of Kentucky linebacker Trevin Wallace. The older brother was another former four-star recruit who went three-and-done at Kentucky and will likely hear his name called in the 2024 NFL Draft. The younger Wallace recently caught up with On3’s Phillip Dukes to provide an update on his recruitment.
Tavion Wallace discussed his relationship with the Kentucky coaching staff and what he is looking for in a college.
“My brother went there, so it’s always been love with them for the past three years. The coaches treat me just like they treat him,” Wallace said about the Wildcats. “I know if that was the school to choose, I’d be safe and it would feel like home up there in Lexington.”

“Somewhere that feels like home, my mom and my dad — they don’t have to worry about me 24-7,” Wallace said. “I just want them to feel safe wherever I go. I want to feel safe wherever I go, feel like home, feel like family everywhere around me.”
Kentucky appears to check some required boxes for the 2025 prospect, but Florida State is currently considered the favorite in this recruitment with Auburn, Florida, and Georgia also involved.
