Taylor Bol Bowen commits to Alabama following Kentucky visit

Florida State transfer Taylor Bol Bowen was in Lexington this week checking out the Kentucky facilities and meeting with the coaching staff. Today, the 6-10 forward announced his commitment — and he will not be wearing blue and white.
Instead, he’ll be suiting up for one of the Wildcats’ conference rivals, joining Nate Oats and the Alabama Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa.
ESPN’s Jonathan Givony broke the news on Friday.
Bol Bowen averaged 8.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per contest while shooting 47.7 percent from the field and 41.4 percent from three as a sophomore in Tallahassee.
Where does Kentucky turn following today’s commitment? Potentially where it has been all along, also hosting Indiana transfer Mackenzie Mgbako on a visit this week, as well — a former five-star prospect and the 2024 Big Ten Co-Freshman of the Year.
