TE Jordan Dingle will not transfer, announces return to Kentucky
Last week on Dec. 7, Kentucky football tight end Jordan Dingle entered his name into the transfer portal. On Saturday afternoon, the Bowling Green native announced that he will return for another season in Lexington instead.
“After a lot of prayer and talks with my family and the UK coaching staff, I know the best place for me to continue developing my game is right here at Kentucky,” Dingle wrote on social media. “To my brothers, let’s work! I’m excited about the future of UK Football! Let’s go! #BBN”

Dingle, a 6-foot-4 redshirt sophomore, recorded 11 catches for 198 yards in 2023, highlighted by an 89-yard outing against Akron and a 61-yard performance against Tennessee. He has racked up 472 career receiving yards and three touchdowns across three seasons in Lexington. What will he do in year four?
Dingle’s return to Kentucky bolsters the program’s tight end room, which also features Josh Kattus and Khamari Anderson. Izayah Cummings entered the transfer portal earlier in the offseason while Brenden Bates ran out of eligibility. Kentucky also expects to bring in three-star tight end Willie Rodriguez from the high school ranks, although UK is having to fend off a late push from Tennessee.
