Ok so it's a slow UK news day (other than stuff about some kid named Terrence), so let's take a look at what's going on down in DA Ville. Here's the next three races (morning line followed by current odds), which are the three prior to the Derby, including my stone cold lock picks:

My Pick: Wow, the UK fans could almost pick across the board here. First, you have the Gillispie fans picking Warrior's Reward, the old school UK fans disappointed by Cool Coal Man scratching and the new school UK fans going with Wall Street Wonder. Then there's always the enticing "Roy being ridden by Calvin" pick. I used to have a dog named Kenzie though, so I'll go with Kensei to win, even though I'm sure that's probably just the name of some Samurai warrior or something.

My Pick: Again, UK fan references galore. First you have Pop Tartt, then Court Vision, followed by Blues Street and Yate's Black Cat. The lawyer in me wants to pick Court Vision, the historian in me wants to pick the Battle of Hastings but the Jihadist in me wants Al Khali to CRUSH the opponents. Al Khali it is, to win.
I'll be back soon with some future recruiting stuff from the '11 and '12 classes, a look at the Derby field and any UK stories as they break.
