Your University of Kentucky Wildcats/United States of America swept the competition at GLOBL Jam 2023 in Canada, winning all four games against international opponents. Sunday evening, the sweep was complete with the Wildcats’ 17-point win over Canada in the gold medal game, in which Antonio Reeves stamped his place as the tournament’s Most Valuable Player.

However, freshman Justin Edwards was Kentucky/America’s leading scorer in the championship game. Edwards scored 23 points to lead the gold medalists, while Reeves and fellow veteran Tre Mitchell each added 18 points.

After the game, the team celebrated their new necklaces at midcourt of the Mattamy Athletic Centre. Kentucky Sports Radio’s Mont Dawson was nearby with a camera to capture the celebration.
