“The Journey” is Kentucky basketball cinema. A win like the season finale victory over Missouri deserves another masterpiece from the UK Sports Video team.

Kentucky maintained a steady lead over the Tigers for most of the game, but nothing came easily. The Cats trailed 11-4 early and it looked like one of those days where they might get blown off the court. That’s when the threes started falling.

Things got pretty tight late in the game, too. Mizzou Arena lit up like the Fourth of July when the Tigers pulled within five in the second half. It looked like a Kentucky turnover was going to throw more fuel on the fire, but the Cats scrambled to find an open Otega Oweh for three that silenced the rowdy crowd. The quiet is even louder in The Journey.

The Journey gives you a high-definition look at all of the exciting action from the floor at Mizzou Arena. It will fire up every member of Big Blue Nation, but that’s not what’s most enlightening from this feature.

The cameras give you a look at what was happening behind closed doors inside the Kentucky locker room. Jaxson Robinson was unable to make the trip to Missouri after undergoing wrist surgery, a procedure that will sideline him for the season. They wouldn’t leave their man behind. The team Facetimed Robinson to let him enjoy the postgame celebration.

Relive the regular season conclusion of The Journey before Kentucky writes a new chapter to this season’s story at the SEC Tournament.
