'The Journey' recaps Kentucky's short-handed road win over No. 8 Tennessee
Need some extra juice ahead of tomorrow’s night showdown against John Calipari and Arkansas? The latest episode of The Journey should have you ready to charge through a wall.
The talented folks over at UK Sports Video dropped their latest recap video from Kentucky’s massive upset win over No. 8 Tennessee in Knoxville earlier this week. Without Lamont Butler and (mostly) Andrew Carr, the Wildcats dug deep into the bench and found a way to pick up another Top 15 win.

This episode of The Journey again takes us behind the scenes as we go inside Mark Pope‘s huddles and the Kentucky locker room. My favorite part? When Pope is encouraging his guys to cut during a timeout: “They don’t want to guard like this. They don’t want to have to chase you around all night. If we stop cutting, we’re gifting them something. Don’t stop cutting. It’s frustrating. Keep doing it.”
They didn’t stop cutting, and Kentucky didn’t stop beating up the Vols. Dive in below for the full video.
