The Video Game Simulation Accurately Predicted the Start of the 2024 Kentucky Football Season
We’ve all been in this scenario before. You’re sitting around with a group of friends and a random topic comes up, like a Ninja Creami ice cream maker. The next day you’ll hop on Instagram and see an ad for that ice cream maker. “How do they always know?” We’re asking that same question about the new college football video game.
Before the 2024 Kentucky football season kicked off, Steven Peake simulated all 12 regular season games on the new EA Sports College Football ’25.
At the time, it seemed silly. Why were a bunch of people getting fired up on a Friday afternoon over a close Kentucky win over Southern Miss? It turns out, we had a good reason.
KSR’s 2024 Kentucky football EA Sports College Football ’25 simulation has been eerily similar through five games. It’s not just that it predicted the Wildcats to lose to South Carolina but beat Ole Miss. Even the stats from some of the games line up.
