The Ville will be La Familia's first true test in their debut TBT run
Through their first three games in TBT, La Familia has won by an average of 24 points. In other words, the Kentucky alumni team has been dominant thus far. However, when La Familia squares off against The Ville, the former ‘Cats could face their first major test of the tournament.
Taking down Uknighted to get things started
In The Ville’s first game against Uknighted, Montrezl Harrell made his presence known by tallying 20 points on 7-12 shooting while also grabbing nine boards. David Johnson scored 17 points as he made five of his twelve three-point attempts. He also had eight rebounds. Coming off the bench, Chris Jones managed to put up 14 points and record two steals in 23 minutes of play in the 79-70 win.

Scraping by Sideline Cancer
Game two for The Ville wasn’t as decisive as Sideline Cancer fell just short in an 81-79 loss. Russ Smith scored 16 points on 3-7 shooting from three-point range. David Johnson’s 18 points were a team-high, but he also recorded four rebounds, four assists and three steals to round out an excellent performance. Once again, Chris Jones was a valuable contributor off the bench, scoring scoring 13 points and grabbing six rebounds along the way.
Dominating DRC to set up one of the biggest games in TBT history
After a scare against Sideline Cancer, The Ville bounced back and handled Team DRC with hardly any issue, winning 83-68. Russ Smith and David Johnson had 15 points apiece while Montrezl Harrell contributed with 11 points, seven rebounds and a pair of blocks. Chris Jones had 11 points in 17 minutes off the bench for The Ville.
