We've known about this for a few days, but UK just made it public, so we can, too. This year,
UK is debuting a VIP "blue carpet" for Big Blue Madness, where former and current players, coaches and staff, and special guests will enter Rupp for the event, pose for pictures, and do interviews with media.
UK will air a live stream of the blue carpet from 6-7 p.m. on UKAthletics.com, but we have some plans of our own as well. Drew will be conducting interviews (in a tuxedo) for "Hey Kentucky!" and I'll also be on the blue carpet doing interviews on Periscope or Facebook Live. UK has invited all former players back for the event, so the blue carpet has some potential.
Of course, the main event, Madness, will air live on the SEC Network and WatchESPN.com starting at 7 p.m. ET with Dave O’Brien, Sean Farnham and Kara Lawson on the call. We'll be doing our normal thing on the site, posting all the clips, highlights, and behind-the-scenes action you could shake a stick at.
