The Kentucky men's basketball team rallied behind Immanuel Quickley's second-half run, denying Florida the opportunity to steal one at Rupp Arena. Quickley finished with a career-high 26 points, including four three-pointers in the second half. Tyrese Maxey added 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists in a game that the freshman played 38 total minutes.

2nd Half Quickley

The sophomore from Maryland had just four points in the first 20 minutes of the game, but that changed abruptly as he could not miss in the second half. “He was fantastic,” Florida coach Mike White said. “He was the best player on the floor. I thought he did a great job finding space, searching — they did a good job finding him. He hit huge shots and complemented that with terrific defense on the perimeter.” Quickley's performance in league play has been extremely impressive as he has placed himself in the SEC Player of the Year conversation.

Just Win Baby

Kentucky has won six straight games and 14 of its last 16. The Cats are now 22-5 on the season, 12-2 in the conference play and have a secure hold on first place in the SEC. There are certainly areas to improve upon, but the team has continued to find different ways to win ball games.

UK Hoops Hosts #1 South Carolina

The No. 1 ranked South Carolina Gamecocks are in town as the Kentucky women's team attempts revenge against a team that dominated the first match-up of the year. Kentucky is coming off a blow-out victory against Ole Miss as Rhyne Howard scored 21 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 steals. The game tips off at 2 pm in Memorial Coliseum.

AD, Lakers Host the Celtics Today

Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers host the Boston Celtics today as the Lakers attempt to bounce back from an early-season blow-out at the hands of the Celtics. AD finished Friday night with an impressive stat line against the Grizzlies: 28 points, 13 rebounds, and 7 blocked shots. Davis is easily a front-runner for Defensive Player of the Year. Tune into ABC at 3:30 to watch Davis, Lebron, and Rajon Rondo.
