Today On KSR: Kentucky took Gainesville in SBNation's CFB Map
By now you already know Kentucky beat Florida for the first time since 1986 on Saturday. You’re probably still smiling and high-fiving co-workers in the office. But in the midst of celebrating and recovering from the hangover, you may not have taken the time to look at this week’s updated College Football Empires Map on SBNation (formerly of Reddit fame), which shows the UK logo in Florida country. It’s a pretty sight on this Tuesday morning.
Now for more…
Coach Eddie Gran and the offense to take questions later today.
It’s Tuesday, which means we will hear from the Kentucky offense following today’s practice. Offensive coordinator Eddie Gran and members of his offense will be available to talk more about the win in Gainesville and what’s ahead with the Racers on Saturday.

Mississippi State game time announced.
When the Bulldogs come to Lexington to meet the (hopefully) undefeated Wildcats, the SEC cross-division rivals will kick it off at 7 p.m., the league announced Monday. The Sept. 22 game will air on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU.
Alabama and Texas A&M earned the 3:30 CBS game.
Quinton Bohanna is day-to-day.
UK nose guard Quinton Bohanna missed the majority of the Florida game with a nagging ankle injury that has been bothering him for weeks, Stoops said Monday. The hope is he will be back for the Cats’ upcoming game against Murray State, but the staff will monitor his progress in practice this week before making any kind of decision on his game status. For what it’s worth, Bohanna is listed as the starter on the Week 3 depth chart.
Two Wildcats named SEC Player of the Week.
Congratulations to Josh Allen and Bunchy Stallings for earning SEC Player of the Week honors this week. Allen won SEC Defensive Player of the Week for his five tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, one quarterback sack, one fumble caused, one pass breakup and one quarterback hurry; while Stallings won Offensive Lineman of the Week with nine knockdown blocks, zero missed assignments, zero penalties, and zero sacks or pressure allowed. Offensive lineman isn’t a position that gets a lot of individual recognition, but Stallings deserves all he can get for his performance against the Gators.

The guy who got his car flipped, got a new car.
A local car dealership, Big M Superstore, supplied Matt O’Hara with a brand new blue Mazda 3 to replace the Volvo that ended up upside down on State Street following Kentucky’s win Saturday. O’Hara gets a new ride; Big M gets a ton of publicity. It’s a win-win.
As for the people who flipped the car, a friend in law enforcement told me First Degree Criminal Mischief could be in their near future:
512.020 Criminal mischief in the first degree.
(1) A person is guilty of criminal mischief in the first degree when, having no right to do so or any reasonable ground to believe that he has such right, he intentionally or wantonly defaces, destroys or damages any property causing pecuniary loss of $1,000 or more.
(2) Criminal mischief in the first degree is a Class D felony.
Moral of the story: Don’t flip a car. And if you must flip a car, flip your own car.
So, I’m reading books now.
Big life change for me recently as I’ve started reading books instead of watching TV until 2 a.m. before I go to sleep. I say this not because you should care about what I do in bed after 10 p.m., but to ask you for any recommendations you may have. I’m a crime/thriller guy (just read The Woman In The Window), but also enjoy a good biography/non-fiction. I’m currently reading Shoe Dog, the memoir by the creator of Nike, and will need something new soon. I trust your opinions.
