Today on KSR, presented by Jake's Cigar Bar: Beat South Carolina
A message from today’s sponsor:
Happiness is the relationship between a well-blended cigar and a glass of Kentucky bourbon.
For nearly a decade, Jake’s Cigar Bar in Brannon Crossing has welcomed folks from across Kentucky to find the perfect match of bourbon and cigars.
With over 200 different bourbons and 300 different Cigars, Jake’s is the only establishment that provides the variety Kentucky deserves.
As if we couldn’t promise you more, we did! Coming soon, Jake’s will be moving across the street to a larger space. That means more unique product selection from the commonwealth and beyond.

Good morning, everyone, and happy Friday. There’s quite a lot happening before tomorrow’s game vs. South Carolina, so let’s get to it.
What’s going on with the line?
First, South Carolina opened as a two-point favorite. Then, the line moved to Kentucky -1, then -1.5. Now, the game’s back at a pick’em. What does Vegas know that we don’t?
Stoops not worried about a letdown
Given the grand history of Kentucky football, this would be the game everything comes crashing back to reality; however, Stoops said he’s been pleased with his team’s focus in practice this week.
“They’ve been good,” Stoops said last night. “They’ve been fine. It’s been a good week. Really, just like I expected. We had a lot going on over the weekend with the late game. I had them a little busier than normal on Sunday and had a few things going on early in the week, but they’ve been great.”
Saturday’s game is SOLD OUT, making for what will be another special atmosphere at Kroger Field. Speaking of, this picture is downright spooky:

Big Blue Madness tickets distributed tonight
The fun at Tent City wraps up tonight at 10 p.m., when tickets to Big Blue Madness are distributed at the Memorial Coliseum ticket windows and Ticketmaster.com. If you’ve been camping out since yesterday afternoon, you’ll receive your control card around 2 p.m. today.
KSR sent quite the crew to campus last night. Drew Franklin, Jack Pilgrim, and Maggie Davis did a few Facebook Lives with fans and Dr. Mike took his fancy camera down there to snap some pictures:

Ashton Hagans too the mic for UK’s recap, which includes an appearance from Benny Snell:
The point of the #BBM18 campout may be to get tickets to Big Blue Madness, but for the #BBN, it's just as much about these moments to get to meet the players, like @H23Ash, up close. Hope #TentCity enjoyed hanging with the guys tonight. We know we had fun meeting the fans. pic.twitter.com/lxAin875aN

BIG visitors in town…literally
Five-star big men Oscar Tshiebwe (Shoob-way) and Isaiah Stewart will soon be on campus for official visits, making this a huge, huge weekend for the future of Kentucky’s frontcourt. Tshiebwe’s already got an offer from John Calipari. Will Stewart pick up one as well? TJ Walker will be by to preview their visits for you in a little bit.
On the football side, in-state star Wandale Robinson will also be on campus for an unofficial visit. Ohio State’s trending for the Western Hills all purpose back, who named Nebraska as his leader last week, but if you listen to Scoop Lemond, Kentucky’s the team to beat. Before Robinson makes the short drive to Lexington, he and his team will take on Washington County tonight at 7:30 p.m.
Women’s Soccer takes on Tennessee
The women’s soccer team has lost four straight, but will look to change their luck tonight vs. the No. 11 Tennessee Volunteers. Go pack the Bell Soccer Complex and cheer the ladies on tonight at 7:30 p.m.
