Tonie Morgan has shined in seven career games against SEC competition

Kentucky’s newest signee, Tonie Morgan, was a two-time All-ACC star for Georgia Tech, but she’s played well against all sorts of competition, including the SEC.
Morgan has played in seven career games against SEC foes, boasting a 4-3 record in those matchups. Only one of those games came in the postseason, when she put up 16 points, six rebounds, four assists and a steal against Mississippi State in the first round of the WBIT.
In those seven games, she averaged 12.0 points, 5.3 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game.
2022-23

2023-24
- Florida (68-58 L): 18 points, seven rebounds, four assists

2024-25
- Georgia (83-67 W): Seven points, four rebounds, seven assists, one steal
- Mississippi State (78-75 W): 15 points, one rebound, eight assists, four steals

Morgan recorded 13.7 points, 5.6 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game as a junior, scoring a career-high 31 points on 12-20 (1-2 3PT) shooting against Stanford last year. Georgia Tech started the year 15-0 with her running the point, climbing to all the way up to No. 13 in the AP Poll.
