Top Kentucky Football Transfer Portal Target Nears End of Visit Tour
Kentucky is looking for a few big fish to wrap up the transfer portal season. They reeled in a big one when David Gusta signed with the Cats over the weekend. Vince Marrow is looking to add another to the defensive line in the near future.
Former South Dakota EDGE Mi’Quise Humphrey-Grace officially visited Kentucky on Friday to kick off his visit tour. USC and Mississippi State tried to get him to L.A. and Starkville (two places that share a lot in common), but according to Chris Hummer, he never made it.
The Cincinnati native reportedly took a trip to his hometown to see what Scott Satterfield’s working with, and he made his way to Madison for an official visit to Wisconsin. He’ll be in Atlanta for an official visit to Georgia Tech tomorrow.
Reading Between the Lines
This development feels like great news for the Cats. Instead of competing against the Trojans and another SEC school, Kentucky is delivering recruiting blows with teams where it can go toe-to-toe and win. We could hear a decision as soon as Wednesday from Humphrey-Grace.

Humphrey-Grace was Missouri Valley Defensive Player of the Year and an FCS All-American at South Dakota, posting 18.5 TFLs and 9.5 sacks. An instant impact playmaker at EDGE, he could become the biggest win of this transfer portal haul for Kentucky. Vince Marrow is good at winning big on players from the Cincinnati area. Let’s see if he can recreate some more of that magic in 2025.
