Top Kentucky target Caleb Wilson postpones Arkansas visit
Five-star power forward Caleb Wilson has postponed his official visit to Arkansas, reports Jacob Polacheck of KSR+. Wilson was set to begin his weekend-long trip to Fayetteville today (Friday, Nov. 1).
Adam Zagoria of ZagsBlog was first to report the news, noting that Arkansas’ scrimmage against TCU tonight in Fort Worth, TX is the cause for postponement. Wilson’s father tells Zagoria that Arkansas head coach John Calipari “will get his visit”. The Razorbacks were expected to be among the last or the very last visits that Wilson takes before going into decision-making mode.
Whether or not Wilson actually does reschedule his Arkansas official visit will be telling. If he does, it’s an indicator that interest in the Razorbacks is legitimate. If not, it could be viewed as a positive for Kentucky with a commitment date expected before the start of 2025.
The Wildcats have been trending as one of the clear frontrunners for weeks now. Wilson has taken visits to Southern California, North Carolina, Tennessee, Central Florida, Ohio State, and Kentucky over the last couple of months, but his trip to Lexington stood out, On3’s Joe Tipton reported earlier this week. North Carolina is the other school to monitor moving forward.

Since the summer, Wilson has been a top recruiting target for Kentucky’s new head coach Mark Pope. Clocking in at 6-foot-9, 195 pounds, the Atlanta product is considered the No. 5 overall prospect in the 2025 class, per the On3 Industry Ranking. He was named Defensive MVP at Peach Jam for Nightrydas Elite back in July.
Notably, Wilson is close friends with four-star point guard Acaden Lewis, who will announce his decision on Saturday afternoon between UK, UConn, and Duke. Lewis is currently expected to choose the Wildcats, joining a 2025 class that already includes five-star shooting guard Jasper Johnson and four-star center Malachi Moreno.
