As a result, Kentucky will host the first and second rounds of the tournament this Friday and Sunday, March 20 and 22. The three games in Lexington will be (2) UK vs. (15) Tennessee State, (7) Dayton vs. (10) Iowa State, and then the winners facing one another. In the latest RPI, Kentucky is ranked 12th, Dayton 35th, and Iowa State, 63rd.   Kentucky struggled when they played the Tennessee State Tigers in Lexington on December 28, only winning by twelve, 87-75. However, the rosters were much different that night due to a variety of illnesses and injuries. UK will open their championship run at 2:30 Friday afternoon, twenty minutes after the first game ends. Tickets for all the sessions at Memorial Coliseum can be found here for $36 a piece.   Kentucky, assuming they knock off the Tigers again, will face the winner of the game before them to advance to the Sweet 16. If the seeds hold up, we will see a UK vs. U of L rematch in the Sweet 16, with the winner's reward being the chance to try and upset the top-ranked UConn Huskies. Kentucky and Louisville play each other in the regular season annually, but have never met in the NCAA tournament.   A two-seed would normally be great news, especially considering UK finished 11th in the final AP voting, but the fact that UConn is the one-seed in their bracket is surely not anything  Matthew Mitchell is excited about. At the end of the 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 seasons, the Huskies eliminated Kentucky from the tournament in the Elite 8, and it’ll take a great game from UK to make sure that doesn’t happen for the third time in four seasons. The first and second rounds are seen below and you can check out the entire bracket here.   Screen Shot 2015-03-16 at 9.18.34 PM
