Transfer Portal Diary Good

The transfer portal is a chaotic time for college football fans. Allow KSR to deliver your daily morning dose of Kentucky football transfer portal news in the most ridiculous manner possible.

The Cats added three new pieces to its 2025 transfer portal class on Thursday. The busiest week of the free agency period is far from finished. We’re expecting more commitments as visits wrap up before the Christmas holiday. Buckle up.

Commitment Watch

Dante Dowdell — Kentucky missed on one running back. Now they’re hosting another for a visit. Dowdell was outstanding in short-yardage situations and ranked fourth in the Big Ten in rushing touchdowns.

Kendrick Law — Multiple RPM picks have been placed for the former Alabama slot receiver. His production was modest, but he checks a lot of boxes. Ja’Corey Brooks and Javon Baker showed us that some of the guys from Tuscaloosa who were buried on the depth chart can be game-changers elsewhere.

Evan Wibberley — Following Koby Keenum‘s departure, it feels like Kentucky is in the right spot to land its next center who is currently on campus for a visit.

More Weekend Visitors

Justin Bowick — The lengthy Ball State wide receiver could fill a need at X for the Cats. The 6-foot-4 pass-catcher only played in four games because of an injury, but put up decent numbers in that short amount of time with 20 receptions for 383 yards and three touchdowns.

Chris Murray — One of two EDGE talents visiting this weekend, Kentucky needs more than just one Sam Greene. Murray was an all-conference player who had a dozen TFLs, 5.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles last fall. Mississippi State, Missouri, and Nebraska are the Cats’ top competition.

Kameron Olds — The Kent State EDGE visited Nebraska and Georgia Tech. He’s at Kentucky today before wrapping things up this weekend at Ole Miss.

Myles Norwood — The Ball State cornerback started his career at an Iowa community college before spending two years at Iowa State. He visited Louisville and South Carolina before his trip to Kentucky. Florida has also been in contact and may try to get him to Gainesville on Sunday.

Georgia Enters the Picture for a Kentucky Target

Kentucky had its sights set on Wyoming transfer Jaden Williams to fill the void left by Keeshawn Silver in the middle of the defensive line. Things were looking good for the Cats until Georgia entered the picture. Now the Dawgs are hosting the nose guard for a visit next weekend. Sigh.

Things are moving fast and furiously as we enter a critical point in the transfer portal cycle. Keep your head on a swivel.
