Travis Perry earns the nickname 'Perry Express' in hilarious new Hilton commercial
Looking for a nickname for Lyon County’s own Travis Perry as he begins his journey as a Kentucky Wildcat? The fine folks at Hilton Lexington/Downtown have you covered with a couple of options while the 3-point sniper out of Eddyville has his own favorite.
Perry is the latest star in a commercial for Hilton in partnership with The 15 Club, an NIL affiliate of the University of Kentucky. In the skit, the Hilton employees greet the Kentucky guard in the hotel lobby and fanboy over his presence, coming up with a ridiculous list of nicknames to celebrate his stay. They bring Perry around the entire hotel, showing him the lobby, dining area, gym, pool and, of course, his room.
Finally shutting the employees out, the Wildcat freshman gets in bed and thinks over his nicknames before singling out a favorite: Perry Express, followed by a beautifully executed “choo-choo” to wrap up things up.

Watch the commercial in its entirety below:
It’s the second NIL commercial with Hilton Lexington/Downtown featuring UK student-athletes in recent months, joining Brock Vandagriff and Maxwell Hairston to open the football season. In that skit, the Wildcat duo was on the other side acting as Hilton employees showing a guest around the hotel.
Which commercial was better, Perry as the hotel guest or Vandagriff and Hairston as employees?
I’m going with the Perry Express, personally.
