Tre'vonn Rybka reaches UDFA deal with Miami Dolphins

Kentucky saw two players come off the board on NFL Draft weekend when the Buffalo Bills selected Maxwell Hairston in the first round and Deone Walker in the fourth round. Once the draft ended, we’ve seen multiple former UK players lock up undrafted free agent deals.
Tre’vonn Rybka is the latest Kentucky defensive player to receive an NFL opportunity. The class of 2020 signee is headed to the AFC East to play for the Miami Dolphins.

Tre’vonn Rybka took a redshirt his first season on campus before becoming a rotation player as a redshirt freshman in 2021. The defensive end would appear in 48 games for Kentucky and earned 25 starting assignments. Rybka heads to pro football after recording 95 tackles, 6.5 non-sack tackles for loss, five sacks, 57 pressures, and played 1,232 defensive snaps. Rybka set career highs as a redshirt senior in snaps (418), tackles (34), and sacks (three). The Dickson (Tenn.) High product is heading to a good situation in South Florida. Defensive line depth is a big question mark for Miami entering the season. Rybka might have more than a puncher’s chance to make the 53-man roster.
Yet another Kentucky player is headed to the National Football League.
