North Dakota guard transfer Treysen Eaglestaff flips to West Virginia

A busy Easter Sunday in college basketball recruiting got some more big news late into the night. North Dakota transfer Treysen Eaglestaff has committed to a new school — again. The pick was not Kentucky.

The bucket-getter has flipped to West Virginia after decommitting from South Carolina four days ago.

The 6-foot-6 guard averaged 18.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists on .416/.359/.794 shooting splits for a North Dakota squad that asked him to carry a heavy, heavy load on offense. Now the senior with one year of eligibility remaining will play for new head coach Ross Hodge in Morgantown. The former North Texas head coach has taken over at WVU after Darian DeVries left for Indiana after just one season in the Big 12.

Kentucky is still looking for transfer help in the backcourt. Treysen Eaglestaff will not be a Cat.
