Two evil forces combine
I admit to not being a big baseball guy. I always begin every season wanting to get into the sport, but I end up disgruntled by the continued Royals-Devil Rays matchups and talk about who the Red Sox will trade for in August until I am ready to jump off a cliff. But I have learned over the years that there is one individual for whom nothing good can be said in the baseball world....and that is Alex Rodriquez. No player has sold his soul for money more quickly, only to have the team that he leaves get better and the team where he arrives get worse at a quicker rate.
So when I saw this picture of A-Rod at a Duke basketball game cheering for the Blue Devils, it just seemed fitting. No team has more bandwagon and annoying fans than the Dukies. And no player better fits what I consider to be the classic Duke fan than Mr. Rodriquez. It truly is a match made in heaven.
