Kentucky’s offense did not have many highlights in the 10–3 win at Auburn. However, Fred Farrier II made two of the biggest plays of the night on the same drive. The senior wideout from Frankfort, Kentucky, who entered the game with only four catches and 53 receiving yards all season, delivered a pair of third-down conversions that changed everything.

On Kentucky’s first drive of the second quarter, with the game tied 3–3, Cutter Boley faced back-to-back 3rd-and-11s near midfield. Both times, he went to Farrier. The first catch moved the chains for 13 yards. The second went for 32, flipping the field and putting Kentucky in scoring position for the first time all night.

Those two receptions were Farrier’s only two targets, but they were perfectly timed. On a night when drives were hard to finish and points were scarce, Farrier’s hands and timing with Boley gave the Wildcats a spark.

Kendrick Law finishes the job

Once Farrier kept the drive alive, Kendrick Law finished it. Two plays after the second conversion, the senior transfer from Alabama caught a screen pass from Boley and ran 13 yards between defenders for Kentucky’s only touchdown of the game.

Law’s score would be the decisive one, putting the Wildcats ahead for good at 10-3 early in the third quarter. He caught six passes for 49 yards on the Plains and leads Kentucky with 24 catches for 302 yards in 2025.

Cameron Miller also came up big at Auburn, catching three passes for 28 yards. However, Miller’s best play was forcing the fumble on the interception return after Boley’s errant throw in the fourth quarter.
