Two More Targets Schedule Official Visits to Kentucky

Before I begin the latest Kentucky football recruiting update, allow me to be candid. Is this happening earlier than normal?
Two more Kentucky targets announced they have “locked in” official visits to Lexington for this summer. In June. That’s four months away.
The college football calendar has drastically changed in recent years, thanks to the wrinkles added by the creation of the transfer portal. Paired with the early signing period, official visits have taken place earlier and earlier each and every year.
But it’s still February. That’s when seniors-to-be go to campuses for Junior Days, not schedule official visits. They haven’t even made the unofficial trips during spring practice and they’re already sharing graphics of summer OVs on social media. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills.
Maybe this is a new strategy for Kentucky to get a step ahead of the competition. Maybe recruits are more impatient now than ever before. No matter the circumstance, I’m skeptical that all of the players who share official visits four months in advance will actually follow through with those visits. Sometimes they don’t even follow through with four days notice.

Point being, these visits are subject to change. At least it gives us a clear idea of who Kentucky is prioritizing in the 2026 recruiting class. Most of these early official visit announcements come from players who are being recruited by Chris Collins and Brad White.
The Two New Official Visitors
Darnell Collins — Chris Collins is Kentucky’s primary recruiter for the 6-foot-3 athlete from Rome, GA. A two-way player at safety and wide receiver, he also has scheduled an official visit with Indiana.
Jaedyn Terry — Terry has a similar profile to Collins. The Manchester, GA native is a 6-foot-3 defensive back being recruited by UK’s Chris Collins. A few ACC schools are in the mix, but his only other official visit currently on the docket is to Mississippi State.
