Tyler Childers takes over Kroger Field on Saturday night with his “On the Road” concert tour. If you’ve got tickets to hear the Eastern Kentucky native and special guests Wynonna Judd and S.G. Goodman, you can do a little good on your way into the stadium.

UK Athletics and Hickman Holler Appalachian Relief Fund are teaming up to accept donations for those impacted by the recent flooding across the state. You can drop off supplies outside of Kroger Field at Gate 1 and Gate 9 from 3:30 – 8 p.m. ET. The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. ET.  Stadium gates open at 4:30 p.m. Needed donations include:

  • Non-perishable foods
  • Paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels)
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Bottled water

Tyler Childers and Senora May established the Hickman Holler Appalachian Relief Fund in 2020 to bring awareness and financial support for philanthropic efforts in the Appalachian Region and other communities in their home state of Kentucky. All donations received by the Hickman Holler Appalachian Relief Fund this weekend will be activated and directed to flood relief efforts in Kentucky. The CFMT will process the donations. You can also make a monetary donation at hickmanhollerappalachianrelieffund.org.

Tyler Childers “On the Road” Concert Need-to-Know

This is the second-ever concert held at Kroger Field, the first being Chris Stapleton’s performance in 2022. As mentioned, fellow Kentucky natives Wynonna Judd and S.G. Goodman will open for Childers. You’ve heard of Judd, of course, but Goodman, who hails from Hickman, is a rising star in her own right. She penned “Space and Time,” which Childers covered on his latest album, “Rustin’ In The Rain.”

Stadium gates open at 4:30 p.m., but if you want to get a head start and some good grub, KSBar is holding a pre-party starting at 11 a.m. Dine-in customers are also invited to park in our lot and walk or Uber/Lyft over to the stadium. To park at the stadium, you’ll need to purchase a parking permit today through Ticketmaster ($45 each, no day-of-concert sales). Parking lots will open at noon on Saturday.

Fans are encouraged to download their mobile tickets and parking passes to their phone’s digital wallet before arriving at the stadium. Kroger Field’s clear bag policy will also be in effect. Visit UKathletics.com/ClearBag for details. There is no option to store items or bags on-site.

The weather for tomorrow afternoon and evening looks almost perfect, mostly cloudy with highs in the mid- to upper-70s. Get in the mood with some Tyler Childers tunes below.
