Eastern Kentucky native Tyler Childers has skyrocketed to fame in recent years, but he’s never forgotten his roots. Childers just announced his biggest tour yet, “On the Road,” which will stop at stadiums and arenas in 25 cities, including Lexington, Kentucky. Childers will perform at Kroger Field, on Saturday, April 19 with special guests and fellow Kentucky natives Wynonna Judd and S.G. Goodman. You’ve heard of Judd, of course, but Goodman, who hails from Hickman, is a rising star in her own right. She penned “Space and Time,” which Childers covered on his latest album, “Rustin’ In The Rain.”

Those interested in buying tickets can sign up to register for the artist’s ticket pre-sale. The sign-up period lasts from now until 11:59 p.m. ET Sunday, Nov. 17. The pre-sale will run from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. ET Tuesday, Nov. 19. You must register in advance.

One dollar from every ticket sold to the show will benefit both Hickman Holler Appalachian Relief Fund (HHARF) and REVERB. Established in 2020 by Childers and Senora May, HHARF brings awareness and financial support for philanthropic efforts in the Appalachian Region. REVERB’s efforts reduce environmental impact in live music, engage fans, and fund carbon impact programs to address the impacts of the tour that cannot be eliminated.

Childers just completed the U.S. portion of his Mule Pull Tour, which included sold-out shows at Rupp Arena, Madison Square Garden (two nights), Inglewood’s Kia Forum, and Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena (two nights). The tour picks back up in February with stops in Australia and New Zealand before he returns to the U.S. to start the On the Road Tour, which will also stop in Cincinnati (Riverbend Music Center), Nashville (GEODIS Park), Los Angeles (Hollywood Bowl), and Las Vegas (MGM Grand Garden Arena) before wrapping up at The O2 in London.

This will be the second concert held at Kroger Field, the first being Chris Stapelton’s performance in 2022. All sales will take place online through Ticketmaster. Parking information is expected to be announced in early 2025.
