WATCH: Tyler Herro gets into scuffle with Amen Thompson
Former Kentucky guard Tyler Herro is having a career season in year six as a pro. The Miami guard is posting career highs in points (23.9), rebounds (5.7), assists (5.1), minutes (35.1), field goal percentage (.472), and three-point field goal percentage (.409). Miami is only two games above .500 (16-14), but Herro is helping keep this team inside the Eastern Conference playoff race.
But some players aren’t so appreciative of the season that the 25-year-old is having. Houston Rockets wing Amen Thompson exchanged pleasantries with the Heat guard in Miami’s 104-100 win on Sunday.
Both benches quickly cleared with former Louisville guard Terry Rozier quickly came to Herro’s defense as the two are now teammates in Miami. With the NBA season getting closer to the halfway point, it is not a surprise to see teams getting a little irritated with each other.

Rozier and Herro were both ejected from the game with 35.7 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Thompson, Jalen Green, and Houston Rockets head coach Ime Udoka were also tossed out by the officials. A random NBA game in Houston got very interesting out of nowhere.
