Tyler Ulis injured in a car accident, John Calipari asks for prayers
Former Kentucky point guard Tyler Ulis is recovering from a car accident that left him hospitalized with serious injuries. Ulis shared photos from his hospital bed on social media over the weekend, showing casts/wraps around both arms and one leg. Today, John Calipari asked Big Blue Nation for prayers for his former player.
“One of my most competitive players, whose will to win inspired me, had a car accident in Michigan,” Calipari tweeted Monday afternoon. “We’ve been in touch, but let’s send some prayers, #BBN. He’s had some setbacks and fate has intervened a few different times.”
Ulis’ 24-hour post has since vanished but its caption read, “Thank you to all my family, friends, and fans who have checked in on me. It is much appreciated. Another setback but I’m blessed to still have my life. God is real. God is good. Check on y’all people never know when their name will be called.”
Keep Ulis in your thoughts and prayers, BBN, in what will likely be a long recovery process.
