2026 No. 1-Ranked Prospect Tyran Stokes Sets Kentucky Visit

Tyran Stokes, the No. 1-ranked prospect in the class of 2026, is starting to take visits. Kentucky has lined one up.
Stokes is set to visit Kentucky from May 15-17, his mother tells KSR+. Stokes has already taken official visits to Louisville and Kansas.
“He’s a once-in-every-few-years physical specimen athlete,” Notre Dame coach Matt Sargeant told KSR+ in January. “Combine that competitiveness with that unselfishness, athletic ability, and size, and you’ve got a pretty good basketball player.”
Kentucky offered Tyran Stokes shortly after Mark Pope was hired as head coach last spring. Kentucky assistant coach Jason Hart, a California-native, has been in multiple times to see Stokes. He has been the main point of contact during Stokes’ recruitment
Kentucky’s 2025-26 Roster is Likely Set
There’s been some talk that Tyran Stokes may reclassify into the 2025 recruiting class. However, sources tell KSR+ that the plan is currently for Stokes to remain in the 2026 class.
