Kentucky has some momentum on the recruiting trail with six commitments joining the 2026 high school class in the last eight days. Now the program will host a finalist this weekend in a great opportunity to win another commitment.

Ahead of his official visit trip to Lexington, three-star offensive guard Tyreek Jemison released his top-five schools on Tuesday. Kentucky made the cut along with Georgia Tech, NC State, North Carolina, and Ole Miss. A decision is now scheduled for June 27.

The Dallas (Ga.) Paulding County standout is the No. 660 overall player in the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking. Tyreek Jemison is the No. 73 overall player in Georgia. The 6-foot-5 and 330-pound prospect has taken official visits to Ole Miss (May 30-June 1), North Carolina (June 6-8), NC State (June 9-11), and Georgia Tech (June 13-15).

Offensive line coach Eric Wolford is leading this recruitment. Jemison took an unofficial visit to see Kentucky during the school year and Wolford also made it down to the Peach State for an in-home visits. The recruit is a top guard target along with Da’Ron Parks. UK will look to close on Jemison this weekend.

The Cats finally have some momentum on the trail. We will find out soon if that turns into a commit avalanche.
