The transfer news will not stop anytime soon. Kentucky lost another player on Friday afternoon. Numbers are now beginning to get thin at the EDGE position over at the Joe Craft Football Training Facility.

Former top-250 recruit Tyreese Fearbry is leaving UK after spending three seasons with the program. The Pittsburgh native has two years of eligibility remaining.

Tyreese Fearbry played over 350 defensive snaps during his time at Kentucky. The outside linebacker recorded 21 tackles, one tackle for loss, two pass breakups, and 21 pressures during his career. Fearbry’s best performance came against Clemson in the Gator Bowl to end the 2023 season when the edge rusher logged a career high five pressures.

Kentucky now has five scholarship edge players on the roster. Noah Matthews, Steven Soles, Jacob Smith, and Caleb Redd will be joined by high school signed Cedric Works Jr. in defensive coordinator Brad White’s position room. Tyreese Fearbry is the third class of 2022 signee to leave the team this offseason joining Barion Brown and Dane Key.
