Shaedon Sharpe, TyTy Washington accept invites to NBA Draft Combine

On Tuesday night, the NBA released the name of 76 draft prospects who will be participating in this year’s NBA Draft Combine. Both Shaedon Sharpe and TyTy Washington have accepted invites to the pre-draft event that will occur next week.
The three-day event will be held in Chicago as prospects get to flash their skills, log measurements, and play basketball with every NBA franchise watching closely. The huge scouting event leads into the NBA Draft that will take place on June 23. The draft order will be unknown until the NBA Draft Lottery takes place in one week on May 17. One day after the lottery, the combine will begin.
TyTy Washington is off to the NBA after just one season at Kentucky. The former top-20 recruit from Arizona in the class of 2021 averaged 12.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.3 steals in 29.2 minutes per game this past season with the Wildcats. The freshman had to play through injury to end the year but flashed playmaking with the ball to go with some efficient shooting numbers when healthy.
Shaedon Sharpe was the No. 1 overall recruit in the class of 2022 who decided to enroll early at Kentucky. The five-star prospect never played a game in college, and his final decision about where he will play basketball next year is still unknown.

In some early mock drafts, both Shaedon Sharpe and TyTy Washington are projected to be lottery picks. If Sharpe does not pull out of the draft, both players should go off the board early in round one.
Elsewhere, Kentucky recruiting target Leonard Miller also earned an invite as the prospect is still mulling his options for next season.
