UK posts job opening for Men's Basketball assistant coach
The hunt for Jai Lucas’ replacement is officially on.
The University of Kentucky has posted a job opening for an “Assistant Basketball Coach” under men’s sports on its hiring website. Kentucky Men’s Basketball recently saw assistant coach Jai Lucas take the same position with the Duke Blue Devils, leaving a significant hole in the coaching staff, particularly on the recruiting trail. Lucas was on staff with UK for the last two seasons.
The deadline to apply is May 11, although that date is seen as more of a formality. Kentucky and head coach John Calipari can take their time to make the right choice with their hire.
